Since, pre historic era plant diseases are known to be the main constrain in agriculture which causes not only the tremendous losses in economy of farmers but killed the billions of peoples due to starvation. Stream of agriculture science which studies the diseases and disorders in plants is recognized as Plant Pathology. Disease can be described as any abnormal functioning of the physiological or biological processes of plant body caused by disease causing infectious agent which gradually leads to death of plant. This infectious causal agent may be a fungus, bacterium, virus, or a parasitic flowering plant. The section has well furnished staff rooms, well equipped classroom, with computer, laptop, printers, internet facility, DLP/LCD projector, OHP, Digital cameras, inverters, Research Farms, etc., which are frequently used by the faculties and students. The section has laboratories for teaching purpose. Latest and state of the art laboratory equipment’s are available with section.
