Department of Animal & Dairy Science

Department of Animal Science and Dairy Science has well equipped practical section with animal science laboratory aids and latest milk processing machineries along with well qualified teaching faculty involved in imparting quality education. Regularly up gradation and modernization of laboratories as per syllabus & change in technology is in practice. This section has also established a small dairy farm to impart the education to undergraduate students. The teaching aids like charts, photographs, models are made available to the students. We have a strong tradition of training outstanding students in animal science and related fields, and welcome prospective students who are interested in our programs and want to contribute to our mission. Graduates of our department have advanced to rewarding careers in universities, government agencies, the livestock industry, veterinary medicine and biomedicine, dairy industry.
