In the field of Agriculture, we studies Economics only related to Agriculture like increase or decrease in supply or demand of the food grains in the market. Also studies that, the reasons behind hike and fall in prices of the produced, manufactured, processed commodities in the Indian Economy. Commonly everyone said that “If farmer lives, then world will live” so that farmer needs to increase the productivity of the farm produce and get a maximum output. To do these things economics apply different laws in utilization of farm inputs viz. labour, Seeds, fertilizers, insecticides, irrigation etc. After applying the laws of economics we calculate the Benefit-Cost ratio various crops. Also studies APMC, various markets, marketing techniques, different financial resources for agricultural credit, banking, co-operative sector, and different strategies of agribusiness management.

Objectives

To making good farm plan, farm budgeting to make optimum farm plan, farm record and accounting.

To study input-output relationship in agriculture and determination of the relative efficiency of various factor combinations.

To provide technical manpower to agro-based industries, research and teaching.
